chocolate labrador problem answers

You may have some problems with your chocolate labrador or concerns here you may find some answers.
Is my choc labrador fat?
I see many people think that their choc labrador is fat. But many people who own choc labs say " there is no such thing as a thin chocolate labrador". It is a half true fact too. If you work hard too not give into your chocolate labs sweet faces that may not happen. But i am not saying that you may be giving them too many treats they may just genuinly be overwieght. If you are that concerned about your dog then try not to give them your leftovers and excersise them a lot. But if you are very concerned go and visit your local vet. Also the males tend to be bigger than the females.

Why does my chocolate lab jump when i have something he likes?
You may be holding the toy above your waist which signals to the chocolate lab that he/she can't get it and has to jump to get it. If your choc labrador still jumps when you hold the toy/treat they may just be playfull. This problem does come in lots of other breeds of dogs too so it is nothing to worry that labs only do it.

Why does my chocolate lab hobble on their leg sometimes?

If your chocolate lab hobbles on their leg at the age of 6+ that is probably normal. hobbles More reasons why your chocolate lab may hobble on his/her leg is below.

  • They may have been sitting down a while so their leg becomes stiff.
  • They may be just getting old.
  • They may have not had good results on their hip test as a puppy.
  • They may be injured.
  • They may have a disease, infection or swollen leg or even arthritus.

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT OR QUESTION IF YOU NEED TO.
